Sanjay Puran Singh’s film has been surrounded by controversies long before it hit the theatres. The movie was released on July 7, with Ashoke Pandit as the producer. Despite high expectations, the film had a disappointing opening at the box office and the subsequent day showed a slight improvement.

From day 1 onwards, 72 Hoorain has faced an uphill battle in gaining audience footfall to the theatres. The film’s opening Saturday witnessed a disheartening response. Despite efforts to create buzz and generate excitement, the movie failed to capture the attention and interest of the movie-lovers, leading to a lack of box office success.

As per the early reports a report in industry insider Sacnilk suggests that 72 Hoorain, featuring Pavan Malhotra and Aamir Bashir in the lead, witnessed a slight increase in its box office collections on the second day of its release, grossing approximately Rs 0.45 crore on the To install domestic ticket window. The film had an overall 11.60% Hindi Occupancy on day 2.
