IPL 2022 Auction: Raina and Uthappa in base price of 2 crores

IPL 2022 Auction: On February 12 and 13, the players’ auction for the 15th season of the IPL will take place. A total of 590 players from all over the world have been selected for this. Players have signed up for a variety of base prices. 28 come from a capped country, 355 from an uncapped country, and 7 from an associate country. In the top base price of Rs 2 crore, there are 48 players. Following that, 20 players have registered for a base price of Rs 1.5 crore and 34 players have registered for a base price of Rs 1 crore.

The BCCI has put ten cricketers on the list of marquee players for a base price of two crores. The most well-known players will be the first to make a bid. Shreyas Iyer, David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammed Shami, Faf du Plessis, Pat Cummins, Ravichandran Ashwin, Quinton de Kock, Kagiso Rabada, and Trent Boult are among the players on the list.

Three ex-experienced Chennai players are available for a base price of 2 crores.

Suresh Raina, who played for Chennai Super Kings, was bought for a top base price of two crores. Raina has scored the fourth most runs in IPL history. In 205 matches, he has scored 5528 runs in 200 innings. This list also includes Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu, in addition to Raina. Last season, Uthappa and Rayudu were also part of the Chennai team.
