Now it will be interesting to see what changes both teams make in their starting XIs for their third match.

The Chennai Super Kings’ team could undergo two changes.

Chennai’s batsmen and bowlers did not walk in the first match against Kolkata Knight Riders. The first match had ended in a humiliating defeat for the team. Following that, the batsmen performed admirably in the second match against the Lucknow Super Giants, but the bowlers once again disappointed. In the death overs, the team lacked specialist bowlers.

Chennai’s team against Punjab has undergone two changes. Rajvardhan Hungergekar, a member of India’s Under-19 World Cup-winning team, and veteran England all-rounder Chris Jordan may get their first taste of playing for Chennai. Jordan was admitted to the hospital for a six-day stay due to a tonsil infection. They are now prepared to return. Ravindra Jadeja will have to decide whether or not to give him a chance.

Bhanuka was replaced by Bairstow.
