Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar passed away, 2 days of national mourning

The most valuable gem in India has been lost. Corona’s hoarse voice carried Nightingale’s Indian voice. Lata Mangeshkar, the world’s melody queen, was defeated by Corona today and said her goodbyes. At Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, he passed away today. Lata ji’s death has been marked by a two-day national mourning period. For the last rites, his mortal remains will be kept in Shivaji Park.

On January 8, Lata ji’s corona report came back positive, and she was admitted to the hospital immediately. Two days later, on January 10, word of his admission reached the public. For 29 days, they battled both corona and pneumonia.

At 8:12 a.m., Lata ji passed away.

He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU). Dr. Pratat Samdhani, who had been treating Lata Tai for a long time, was in charge of the team of doctors who were treating her. During the course of treatment, his health improved as well. He was always being watched. His health began to improve about 5 days ago, as well. He was kept in the ICU but was not given oxygen, and he died at 8.12 a.m. on Sunday. His death, according to Dr. Pratat, was caused by multi-organ failure.

The death of Lata ji, also known as Swara Kokila, Didi, and Tai, has triggered a nationwide outpouring of grief across the country. Fans had hoped for his recovery, but the bad news today has broken the hearts of millions of music fans. Today, Lata ji, who sang hundreds of classic songs, embarked on an infinite journey.

For nearly two years, Lata ji did not leave her home. She would occasionally use social media to send messages to her fans. She used to spend more time in her room as she got older and her health deteriorated. After a staff member at his house reported that he was Corona positive, he was tested. On January 8, his results were positive.

Music’s Eight Sunny Decades

92-year-old Lata ji sang more than 50,000 songs in 36 languages, a world record for any singer. He appeared in over 1000 films as an actor. Between 1960 and 2000, movies without Lata Mangeshkar’s voice were considered incomplete. His voice was known for ensuring the success of songs. He reduced his film singing from 2000 onwards, appearing in only a few select films. His most recent film was Dunno Y, which he scored a song for in 2015.

Lata Mangeshkar was born on September 28, 1929, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and has been active in the music world for nearly 80 years. From the age of thirteen, he began singing in 1942. Pt. Dinanath Mangeshkar, Lata ji’s father, was a well-known figure in the Marathi theatre and music worlds. Lata ji learned music from him. Lata ji has three sisters, Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, Meena Mangeshkar, and a brother, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, and is the eldest of five siblings.
