Users will receive a total of six emoji reactions after the new update, including Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks, though no information on whether users will be able to customise them is currently available. According to WABetaInfo, the emoji reaction will be available for desktop, iOS, and Android.

WhatsApp, by the way, has made no official statements about the three platforms. The WhatsApp message reaction feature was rolled out to WhatsApp’s desktop beta version 2.2208.1 earlier this month, but was not visible in the drop down menu.
