Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued a statement following the Hijab controversy in Karnataka. We will prepare a draught of the “Uniform Civil Code” as soon as our government is sworn in, according to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

The Chief Minister stated that the BJP government will immediately form a committee to draught a draught of the “Uniform Civil Code” in order to protect Uttarakhand’s cultural and spiritual heritage. Property and paternity laws are also different. He stated that all citizens will have equal rights in matters such as marriage, divorce, succession, property, and property.
