Relief: You will be able to travel in Air Asia flight with Air India ticket

After Tata Sons took over the reins of Air India, the company’s entire focus is on ensuring that passengers are not inconvenienced. A major agreement between Air India and Air Asia has been signed, which is a significant step forward in this regard. Passengers will be able to travel on another airline’s flight by purchasing a ticket from one airline.

Passengers will have less to deal with.

In fact, Air India and Air Asia have signed an agreement under which both airlines will be able to transport each other’s passengers in the event of a problem with their operations. This agreement was made so that passengers would not be inconvenienced if one of the airlines’ flights were to be disrupted. Passengers will only be able to travel on the airline whose flight is available first under this arrangement.

The system will be in effect until 2024.

This agreement will be in effect for two years, until the year 2024. According to a report released in this regard, the agreement between the two airlines will be in effect from February 10, 2022 to February 10, 2024. This arrangement, however, is only valid for domestic flights. Both of these airlines have agreed to the IROPs arrangement, which allows passengers to be transferred to the other airline’s flights in the event of one of the airlines’ operations being disrupted.
